Stanford Biodesign has been promoting the localization of the biodesign innovation process to regions outside the United States through its global initiatives.

Founded by fellows from the Stanford Biodesign Global Faculty Training Program (GFITs), Singapore-Stanford Biodesign, and Stanford India Biodesign, the Global Faculty Alumni Association (GFAA) aims to reach, serve and engage a highly vibrant community of global biodesign alumni and friends worldwide.

The participants of GFAA to date come from Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, India, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom.

The GFAA is looking forward to forming a platform for global biodesign communities to achieve academic and industry excellence through collaboration and information sharing.
